  • Ingestion: Wash mouth out with water or milk.
  • Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash skin with soap and water for at least 15 minutes.
  • Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
  • Note to Physician: Treat chemical exposure symptomatically and supportively.

6. Accidental Release Measures

Wear approved nuisance dust respirator during cleanup. For small spills, flush to waste treatment sewer (product is biodegradable). For large spills, contain and collect for reuse. US Regulations (CERCLA) require reporting spills and releases to soil, water and air in excess of reportable quantities.  Store in cool dry place. Prevent skin and eye contact. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use. Avoid creating dust. Use approved respirator. Keep container closed when not in use.

13. Disposal Considerations

 RCRA Hazard Class (if discarded): Neat, unused product is not considered a hazardous waste, according to RCRA regulations 40 CFR 261. . For proper disposal of used materials, an assessment must be completed to determine the proper waste management options permissible under applicable rules, regulations and/or laws governing client's location. Use until less than 1 inch remains in the container, triple rinse with clean water, and pour rinse water to sewer. Then remove or deface product label to avoid confusion if pail or drum is later refilled. Clean, empty containers should be recycled or disposed of through an approved waste management facility.
