Land Spill: Eliminate sources of ignition. Prevent additional discharge of material, if possible to do so without hazard. Recover for use if possible, or transfer to suitable container for disposal. Use absorbent to clean up. Prevent liquid from entering sewers, water sources, or low areas. Contain spilled liquid with sand or earth. Do not use combustible materials, such as sawdust, to absorb spill. Wash down spill area with soap and water. Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations.

Water Spill: Remove from surface by skimming or with suitable absorbents. If allowed by local authorities and environmental agencies, sinking and/or suitable dispersants may be used in confined waters. Recovered material may be biodegraded with Alken Clear-Flo® 7036, supplemented by Alken® Bio-Nutrient 3 and Alken Clear-Flor® 5100, if a suitable aerated, treatment tank is available on-site.
