ALKEN® DISPERSE 327 non-phosphate, non-chromate totally organic cooling water corrosion inhibitor contains polymer-ester, fatty amides and aromatic azole which provide a monomolecular film on metal surfaces for inhibiting corrosion. ALKEN® DISPERSE 327 helps to control scale deposition by sequestration and dispersion of deposit forming substances as well as by crystal distortion. ALKEN® DISPERSE 327 is especially useful when used at very low treatment levels to control fouling in high make-up cooling systems where conventional treatment would not be economical. |
|
ALKEN® DISPERSE 327 dosages depend upon the analysis of the makeup water, the cycles of concentration maintained, equipment operations, etc. Average dosage requirement is 8 to 10 ppm (1.0 to 1.25 fluid ounce per 1,000 gallons) added to the makeup water. On the initial start-up, use triple normal dosage to clean up the system and establish the protective film |
ALKEN® DISPERSE 327 must be fed continuously to the recirculation systems by chemical proportioning feeders. Automated Systems with chemical feed and bleed in direct proportion to make-up are available. |
Store in cool dry place. Store in a tightly closed container at moderate temperature, do not freeze. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use only in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Do not inhale or ingest |
