ALKEN® TREATMENT 72 is a unique blend of scale and deposition inhibitors designed to control scale and sludge in boilers using softened make-up. The special combination of chelating agents, polymer dispersants, and phosphates allows for occasional softener upsets, providing a very forgiving boiler water treatment program. |
|
ALKEN® TREATMENT 72 dosages depend on the analysis of the make-up water, equipment operations, etc. Dosages for each installation are recommended by your ALKEN® representative based on his survey. Dosage is controlled by a color comparison test for phosphate. |
ALKEN® TREATMENT 72 should be fed continuously to the feedwater system by a chemical metering pump. Feed point should be after the feedwater pump to avoid possible attack of the pump impeller. |
