BIODEGRADABLE HARD SURFACE CLEANER/DEGREASER

DESCRIPTION:

ALKEN® SURFACE CLEANER 874 is a proprietary blend of concentrated surfactants and bio-stimulating agents. ALKEN® SC 874 quickly and effectively removes surface stains resulting from spilled petroleum products on concrete, asphalt, rock, and soil. Used alone or in conjunction with ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 7036, ALKEN® SC 874 decreases the time necessary for clean-up and increases the bio-availability of the contaminant. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Hard Surface Cleaning: Dampen the contaminated surface, apply SC 874 and allow it to work for 10 -15 minutes, then brush and rinse. Keep the work site damp during treatment and repeat if necessary.

Porous Surface (soil) Cleaning: Scrape surface, dampen and apply SC 874. Scrape the surface again and rinse. To accelerate biodegradation of the petroleum products, follow with CLEAR-FLO® 7036.

Precautions/Limitations: Read and follow precautions on MSDS. Pretest new equipment finishes by applying to a small area first. Optimal performance is on damp concrete surfaces.

Dilutions:

• Full-strength - heavy aged oil stains
• 1:3 - tool cleanup
• 1:5 - parts-wash
• 1:10 - fresh oil stains
• 1:25 - general cleaning.
• Landfarming bioremediation assistance: 1 gallon will cover at least 80 cubic feet.

PACKAGING and HANDLING:

ALKEN® SURFACE CLEANER 874 is packaged in 5 and 55 gallon ABS2 plastic pails/drums. Store in a cool dry place. Avoid eye contact. Do not ingest. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe mist. Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact. Refer to MSDS for information on safe handling of this product. Not for human consumption.
