DESCRIPTION:

ALKEN® 935 was an completely oil-soluble blend of transition-metal compounds which function as combustion catalysts. The combustion catalysts in ALKEN® 935 reduce the ignition temperature of the heavy hydrocarbons found in residual and blended fuel oils. Overall combustion efficiency is improved and less smoke and fewer coke particles are produced as these hydrocarbons are burned more quickly and completely. Coke particles together with acid condensation form "acid smut," which sometimes falls to earth nearby the plant, causing damage to equipment and automobiles.

This product was discontinued, along with all metallic fireside fuel additives. Our wholly organic Alken Even-Flo formulations eliminate the need for such products. Alken Even-Flo formulas provide the additional advantages of eliminating sludge and corrosion in the entire system, since they are applied to the storage tank, without any special pumps required.
