DESCRIPTION:

ALKEN® BIO-NUTRIENT 9 is a low molecular weight, highly concentrated liquid suspension extracted from a ~4,000 year-old humified organic soil deposit, containing a balanced blend of humates, which promote the chelation of nutrients, fulvic acids, which regulate the hormone levels in stressed plants, ulmic acids, which also stimulate plant growth and better assimilation of nutrients, and micronutrients, to serve as organic catalysts. CONTAINS NO LEONARDITE (coal products).

• Provides plants with macro and micro-nutrients.
• Improves root system development.
• Enhances buffering properties by increasing nutrient availability.
• Cation exchange capacity of 900 to 1400 meq/100 g.
• Increases the permeability of plant membranes to promote the absorption of nutrients, thereby reducing the amount of chemical fertilizer needed.
• Supplies compounds linked with humic substances, in the form of chelates, which become biochemically active.
• Aids in correcting plant chloroses.
• Improves air circulation in soil.
• Improves water-holding capacity of soil.
• Increases the germination capacity of seed.
  

Agricultural Applications: Apply 10 gallons per surface-acre (93 liters per hectare), once a year, or divide the dose to synchronize with bacterial applications.

Supplement for Composting, Dethatching: Apply 3 gallons per surface-acre, to enhance performance of Clear-Flo 7014, delivering additional micro-nutrients to finished compost.
