Emergency Overview: The microorganisms used in this product
are BioSafety Class 1 microorganisms, as defined by the Centers for Disease
Control as unlikely to cause disease in healthy humans or animals. However,
persons with compromised immune systems should avoid contact with open wounds
and/or breathing dust or mist from manufacturing processes. These organisms
are susceptible to many commonly used antibiotics, and Alken-Murray is willing
to supply antibiotic sensitivity information to any doctor or import health
authority requesting it. Although bacterial cultures included in this product
were grown in a sterile aqueous medium containing a variety of nutrients,
including corn syrup solids, digests of soybean and/or skim milk, glucose
or other sugars, vegetable oils, including olive oil, yeast extract, mineral
salts, etc., the concentrations of these residual nutrients are believed
to be below levels capable of triggering irritation. Potential Health Effects: |

| For small spills, flush to waste treatment sewer (product is biodegradable). For large spills, contain and collect for reuse. Wear approved respirator for nuisance dust during cleanup. |
| Store in cool dry place. Keep container closed when not in use. We have now included an inner plastic bag with twist tie seal, to help protect the product Avoid storage of product above 110 F and keep from freezing. Keep out of direct sunlight. Activate product according to label or product bulletin instructions. |

Environmental Fate: This product is not likely to bio-concentrate, if mixed with water. This product released directly or indirectly into the environment is not expected to have a significant impact. Environmental Toxicity: This material has a low potential to affect aquatic organisms, secondary waste treatment microorganisms, and the growth of some plants. Baking soda is approved by the FDA as a food additive under 21CFR172.510 and FEMA #321. |
| RCRA Hazard Class (if discarded): Neat, unused product is not considered a hazardous waste, according to RCRA regulations 40 CFR 261. For proper disposal of used materials, an assessment must be completed to determine the proper waste management options permissible under applicable rules, regulations and/or laws governing client's location. Wash containers down with water and disinfect with a 1% sodium hypochlorite solution before disposal Then remove or deface product label to avoid confusion if pail or drum is later refilled. Clean, empty containers should be recycled or disposed of through an approved waste management facility. |
