ALKEN ENZ-ODOR® 1 is a unique broad-spectrum chemical/bacterial blend which combines the effectiveness of selected biostrains with the rapid performance of selected surfactants and an oxygenating biocatalyst to provide a safe, natural way to accelerate the biodegradation of odor-causing waste. ALKEN ENZ-ODOR® (original) contains three natural, non-pathogenic, saprophytic strains of Bacillus, which produce optimum protease, lipase, amylase and cellulase enzymatic activity. Instead of merely masking the odor, the waste matter causing the odor is destroyed. Because the organisms in ALKEN ENZ-ODOR® are endospore formers, they can survive, dormant, through hot, dry weather and over the winter; they will become active again whenever conditions moderate, so that the process will continue without adding more product. Formula improved in 2005. |
