GR.CH.MINNEHAHA TEE HEE, silver tabby son of Gr.Ch.Minnehaha Dillon and Wee Heather Judy. Tee Hee won three finals at the Empire Cat Show in 1989 in his only show as a kitten. As an adult, he has won many breed awards and finals including 7th Best Cat under Robert Everett and 5th Best Cat under Dave Bandy. When shown in TICA by his co-owner, Tee Hee was a multi-finalist. Tee Hee is a medium size, balanced male with good bone, a strong back with outstanding topline, an exceptional head with an excellent profile, level bite and strong, deep chin. His clear, even, silver color and emerald-green eye color contrast well with his clearly defined black pattern on a short, even coat. Tee Hee is now retired from breeding and showing and lives with his co-owner Susan Taylor of Okeechobee Kennels (Golden Retrievers) in New Jersey as a neuter. Tee Hee displays the old-fashioned "sabre-like" tail carriage that was described in the 1912 written show standard for the American Shorthair. Although no longer judged on this feature, it is nice to preserve features that are unique to the American Shorthair breed. |
