DESCRIPTION: ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 1000 is a dry,
blend of four strains of Bacillus bacteria designed for simple reduction
of aquatic nutrients (excreta, excess feed, surface runoff, etc.), where
water quality is fairly good and a microbial blend is used as "insurance"
and as a simple gut probiotic when eaten by fish. ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 1000
has been used and recommended by independent scientists since the 1980s
in fish hatcheries, catfish and trout farms, lobster pens, prawn farms,
and aquaria to combat the most common problems associated with high nutrient
levels murky water, suffocation of fish, proliferation of algae,
and off-flavors. If ammonia nitrogen is also high, ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 1100 should be used in conjunction with ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 1000. If pollution levels are high, use either ALKEN CLEAR-FLO 1005 or ALKEN CLEAR-FLO 1006. |
