Emergency Overview: This product contains two (2) strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a species rated BioSafety Class 2 by the Centers for Disease Control, but this pair of strains has been tested deficient for Toxin-A production, making them as safe as species identified as BioSafety Class 1, like the other twelve (12) strains in this formula. BioSafety Class 1 microorganisms are defined by the Centers for Disease Control to be unlilkely to cause disease in healthy humans or animals. However, persons with compromised immune systems should avoid contact with open wounds and/or breathing dust or mist from manufacturing processes. These organisms are susceptible to many commonly used antibiotics, and Alken-Murray is willing to supply antibiotic sensitivity information to any doctor or import health authority requesting it. Although bacterial cultures included in this product were grown in a sterile aqueous medium containing a variety of nutrients, including corn syrup solids, digests of soybean and/or skim milk, glucose or other sugars, vegetable oils, including olive oil, yeast extract, mineral salts, etc., the concentrations of these residual nutrients are believed to be below levels capable of triggering irritation or allergic reactions. Copies of original supporting Toxin-A deficiency testing and related papers plus our "Confidential Specifications Sheet for Alken Clear-Flo 7136" (includes morphology, species identification determined by independent DNA testing, assays of enzyme and antibiotic sensitivity and source, identifying country and environment) are available to any health authority, medical doctor or authorized distributor, once each individual requiring access, signs and returns to us a copy of our "trade-secret agreement" via Federal Express. Access the antibiotic sensitivity chart at http://www.alken-murray.com/antibio-strain.pdf , which provides results of Kirby-Bauer antibiotic sensitivity screening of Alken-Murray's strains, on a strain by strain basis. See more about Alken-Murray's policies in that document.
