"Loco" is the silver tabby son of Gr.Ch.Minnehaha Tee Hee and Ch.Sol-Mer's Apache WahNah
of Apache (a daughter of NW Gr.Ch.Sol-Mer Centaurus) born 1/27/91. Loco
won finals several times as a kitten, completed ½ the points for
his grand championship at Madison Square Garden before completing his title
with four finals including a Best in Show under Jeanne McPhee at
Freestate Cat Fanciers in Timonium, Md. in September of 1992. He qualified
for the 1992 Invitational show as "2nd Best American in the Southern
Region", won 3 finals at the 1993 Madison Square Garden Cat Show and
was featured on CBS This Morning in 1993 and 1995. In 1994 he was
selected to promote the Madison Square Garden show by The Today Show, USA
Today, CNN, CBS News, Channel 54 in New York, The New York Daily News, and
many other newspapers. He won finals under seven of eight judges at the
1994 Madison Square Garden show, earning him "Best of Breed" and
"4th Best Cat" overall. He repeated "Best of Breed"
at Madison Square Garden in 1995. Loco is a littermate to the successful
sire Gr.Ch.Apache Chief Tonto. Loco is a large, balanced male with exceptional
bone, a strong back, a masculine head with a moderate profile, level bite
and strong chin. His superb coat texture is colored with a clear, sparkling
silver ground color, free of tarnishing and contrasting sharply with his
densely black pattern and green eyes. Loco has a dignified and loving disposition.
