RAPID GREASE DIGESTER

**DESCRIPTION:**
ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4000 is is a concentrated dry formulation of specially selected, non-pathogenic, Biosafety level Class 1 bacteria (4 Bacillus and 4 gram-negative vegetative strains) in combination with surfactants, designed to accelerate liquefaction and digestion of grease, fats, and oils. ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4000 is ideal for use in grease traps, drain lines, and basement sewage injection pits.

**CHARACTERISTICS:**
Bacteria count:	2 billion CFU/gram (900 trillion CFU/lb)
Appearance:	Free-flowing, brown powder
Odor:	Yeast-like

**FEATURES AND BENEFITS:**
Rapid degradation of grease, fats and oils Good stability and long shelf life; resistant to sanitizers. No raw enzymes added. Non-toxic, non-corrosive, safe to handle and store, safe to the environment. USDA authorized for use in sewage and/or drain lines of official establishments operating under Federal meat, poultry, shell grading and egg products inspection programs. Effective over a wide temperature range (50 degrees F to 140 deg F). Effective over a wide pH range (5.5 to 9.0). Cultures grow in either the presence or absence of oxygen.

*For initial dose & problem systems: double the suggested feedrate for the first two weeks or until control is achieved, then continue with dosage as suggested above.

**DIRECTIONS FOR USE:**
To optimize the action of the bacteria, we recommend pre-hydrating for 1 to 2 hours after adding 2 gallons of water at 70 F to 90 F to each pound of product. Make sure water is free of chlorine. Pour entire product, including bran into system. Alternatively, dry powder may be applied directly to the system, either loose or in soluble packets. Avoid use of algaecides, herbicides, and antibiotics when using ALKEN CLEAR-FLO®.

**PACKAGING AND HANDLING:**
ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4000 is packaged in 25-, 50-, and 500-pound containers. Storeclosed in a cool dry place. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and open wounds. Wash hands with warm, soapy water after handling. Read MSDS Update: 03-04-2005
