ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4103 is a concentrated
liquid formulation of selectively adapted bacterial cultures that accelerate
breakdown and removal of oily material (fats, grease and oil), whether of
animal or vegetable origin. ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4103 is formulated especially
for use in treating wastewater emanating from food processing industries
involved with meat and poultry packing, cheese and vegetable oil manufacturing,
dairy processing, rendering, etc., rapidly digesting floating and/or solidified
oils and greases to rapidly solve major operations problems.. The intentional
omission of surfactants, dyes and fragrance expands the jurisdictions that
allow application of this unique formula. ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4103 is also ideal for use as a 4X-NF manufacturing concentrate for production of ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4100 or "private-label" equivalent products. |

ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4103 may may conveniently be added manually, or automatically, using a chemical metering pump. See Industrial/municipal dosage charts, substituting 1 gallon of this liquid product where one (1) lb. of powdered product is prescribed in the USA dosage chart.., posted to the Alken-Murray Corporation website. Calculate dosages by cross-referencing system flow rate with level of COD. If using the USA dosage chart, substitute one (1) gallon of this product where one (1) lb. of powdered product is prescribed on the chart. If using the metric dosage chart, substitute 3.8 Liters of this product for each 1 Kg of powdered product prescribed.
Use of ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 4103 as a 4X-NF
Manufacturing Concentrate: Bacterial
cultures tend to settle to the bottom of the pail or drum during storage,
so be sure to blend product thoroughly for at least 15 minutes (use bung-entering
overhead stirrer or drill with paint-stirrer attachment, prior to pouring
contents into clean mixing tank. Refill drum with clean water, emptying
into mixing tank. Then add "approved surfactant(s)"*, dyes and/or
fragrance you desire to include in your finished product and then add water
to complete dilution to 25% of original product. Inclusion of up to 6% of
"approved surfactant(s)"* will effectively increase the shelf-life
of the finished, diluted product from the 6 months of this concentrate to
a full 1 year shelf-life, if stored at cool room temperature. Whenever possible,
use oversize packaging with filter-vented lids, when packaging liquid products
that include gram-negative, vegetative cultures. For example, to package
5 gallons of CF 4100, Alken-Murray uses a 6 gallon NAM-PAK pail with Teflon-filtered
vent in the pour-spout. See Alken-Murray's See Alken-Murray's Supplier Links for Nam-Pak and Freund Container *Ask "Valerie" for your copy of Alken-Murray's "Approved Additives" Document, which reports test results for various potential surfactants, fillers, dyes, fragrances, |
