Alken Clear-Flo® 7000 line
Below is a sampling of industrial,
municipal and bioremediation problems we have solved in the past. We are
constantly pushing the envelope of technology, creating new formulas and
new systems to solve a wide variety of pollution problems. Do not assume
that we cannot solve a situation just because it is not on this list, we
specialize in custom solutions. When the other companies give up...call

| Oil
Depot Station Case Study |
| In 2002, a large Greek Oil Depot Station's
sequential batch reactor (SBR) experienced difficulties adjusting to hydraulic
fluctuations in their raw wastewater, requiring microbes that could quickly
adapt to changes in quantity and content of their wastestream. After one
week of treatment with Alken Clear-Flo 7008,
the BOD removal efficiency was greater than ninety-seven percent and
COD removal exceeded eighty percent. They also experienced odors from
rotting petroleum in their storage tanks. One day of treatment iwith
CF 7008 added to the storage tanks resolved their odor problems. |
| Paper Mill Discharging
to a River |
| 1) Mexican pulp and paper mill, Industrias

replaced, our Clear-Flo 7005 and Clear-Flo 7008
(warm weather) and Clear-Flo 7026 (cold weather), assisted
by a small application of polymer, brought this plant into compliance with
their discharge permit, reducing BOD, COD, TSS and dissolved solids to meet
the discharge limit for river discharge. |
